Promoted listings
Suppliers, products and tenders can pay SourceVouch to appear in places marked Promoted. Each one says who paid for it. Now and then SourceVouch picks an item itself without payment, and it says so: “Chosen by SourceVouch, not paid”.
Where they appear
- In a box marked Promoted above the results for suppliers and products, only on the first page and only with the Best match order.
- In a box marked Promoted above the list of open tenders. Not on closed tenders, and not on your own list of tenders you were invited to or bid on.
- In a Promoted row on the home page.
- Never inside the results, and never in lists that claim an order, such as “Top suppliers by verification score” or “Latest listings”.
How they are chosen
- A promoted item appears only when it matches your search words and filters.
- When more items are promoted than there are places, they take turns at random. A search shows at most 2 promoted suppliers, 3 products or 2 tenders, and at most one per company (for tenders, one per buyer).
- An item already among the first results is not repeated in the box above them.
- Only public items are promoted: listed suppliers and products, and open tenders anyone can bid on. A paid promotion of a supplier or product needs a company that manages its own page.
What payment never changes
- Verification checks, scores and badges.
- Reviews and ratings.
- The order of search results.
- Which suppliers are told about a tender or a quote request.
Promotion is not an endorsement. Check the evidence on the company page before you buy.
How results are ordered
- Suppliers, Best match: how well the company matches your words, its verification score, its average rating, and whether it has a logo.
- Products, Best match: how well the product matches your words, the company's verification score, and whether the listing has a photo and a price.
- Tenders: the ones closing soonest first.
- You can choose another order, such as Most verified or Top rated. The promoted box does not appear then.
