Terms of use

These terms are a contract between you and Sapling Creations Private Limited ("SourceVouch", "we", "us"), Unit 2C, 2nd Floor, Sahya Building, Govt Cyberpark, KSITIL Special Economic Zone, Nellikode PO, Kozhikode, Keralam 673016. Email: hello@sourcevouch.com. By using SourceVouch, with or without an account, you accept them. If you use it for a company, you accept them for that company too and confirm that you may bind it.

SourceVouch is for business use by people aged 18 or over who can make a binding contract and are not barred by law or trade sanctions.

Give correct details about yourself and your company, and keep them up to date. An account is for one person. Keep your password and sign-in codes secret, and tell us if someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through it, unless we are at fault.

One account can manage one company page. Claim a page only for a company you are authorised to act for, and keep it accurate, including details we took from the company's website.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it as needed to run SourceVouch, until it is removed, apart from backups, content already delivered to others, and records the law requires. You confirm that you may post it and that it is accurate and lawful.

Company pages, products, reviews and public tenders are public. Contact details and company files are shown to anyone signed in, so keep confidential material out of them. Messages, quotations and bids are shown only to the people involved.

Any signed-in user can review a company once. Reviews are public and show the reviewer's name, job title, company and profile picture. Review only your own real experience, never a company you own, work for or compete with, and never offer or accept a benefit for a review. We hide reviews that break these terms, and nobody can pay us to remove or change one.

We are not a party to any deal between users. We do not take payments, inspect goods or guarantee that anyone will reply, quote, bid, deliver or pay. Agree the full terms of any deal with the other party, in writing.

• When you contact a company, whoever manages its page sees your name, job title, company, email address and any mobile number on your account. Use contact details you receive only for that deal.
• Run tenders and quote requests only for a real need. Public ones, with everything you write in them, stay visible after they close.
• In a sealed tender, the buyer cannot see bid amounts or documents on SourceVouch until the deadline. This is a software access rule, not encryption.
• Tenders marked Official are public procurement notices we copy from TED and the World Bank. They are not run on SourceVouch: the official notice, linked on each one, is the authoritative version and says how to ask questions and bid. We reformat these notices automatically and can get details wrong, so check the official notice before you bid.

Our checks are automated and limited. A badge means a company passed certain checks on certain dates, not that we visited, audited or approved it, or confirmed its quality, finances, certificates, or ESG, CBAM or emissions data. Results can be wrong or out of date, so before you order, check documents, registrations, samples and references yourself.

Everything except promoted placements is free for buyers and suppliers today. If we start charging for anything else, we will tell you first, and you pay only if you choose to use it.

Promoted suppliers, products and tenders appear only in places marked Promoted, under a separate agreement with our team. Payment never changes verification checks, badges, reviews, ratings or the order of search results. Details: sourcevouch.com/promoted

Do not use SourceVouch, or help others use it, to:

• Give false information, pretend to be another person or company, or write fake, paid or biased reviews.
• Send spam, scrape data with automated tools, upload harmful code, attack SourceVouch, or get around its security or access rules, such as sealed bids.
• Offer or ask for illegal goods or services, including goods under sanctions or export controls.
• Post anything that belongs to someone else; is obscene, pornographic or paedophilic, or invades privacy; is harmful to children; insults or harasses people over gender, race or ethnicity, or stirs up enmity over religion or caste; relates to money laundering, gambling or unlawful or harmful online games; infringes intellectual property; misleads people about where it comes from, or knowingly spreads false information; impersonates someone; threatens India's unity, security, sovereignty, foreign relations or public order, or incites an offence; contains malware; or breaks any law. This includes content made or changed with AI. Indian law requires us to ask this of every user.

Our crawler, SourceVouchBot, builds pages for companies not yet on SourceVouch from their public websites. It collects company facts such as name, general email address, phone number and logo, not personal email addresses. These pages are marked Unclaimed page and can contain mistakes. We may email the general address about SourceVouch and about new tenders in the company's categories; each email has a link to stop them.

If you run the company, claim the page to correct it, or ask us at hello@sourcevouch.com to take it off, writing from the company's domain or with other proof. To limit the crawler, see sourcevouch.com/bot. To stop all visits, or to have a person's details removed, write to us.

To report a review, use its Report link. For anything else, write to hello@sourcevouch.com. People on our team, not automated tools, decide what to do.

If you break these terms, we can remove your content or suspend or close your account. We email you what we did and why, unless the law stops us or it would put others at risk. Reply to ask us to look again. If what you post or do also breaks the law, you may face penalties under that law, and we report it to the authorities where the law requires.

To close your account, write to us from its email address. This can remove your reviews, tenders and conversations. Your company page stays up, unclaimed, unless you ask us to remove it. Indian law requires us to keep your registration details, and content we remove, for 180 days.

We provide SourceVouch "as is" and "as available", with no promise that it or its information is always available, complete or correct. Nothing on it is legal, tax, ESG or CBAM advice. As far as the law allows:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, business or data, or losses caused by other users, your deals, or reliance on information on SourceVouch.
• Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of what you paid us in that period and USD 100. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud.
• You will cover our losses and reasonable legal costs from any claim against us over your content, use of SourceVouch, breach of these terms or the law, or dealings with other users.

These terms and any dispute about SourceVouch are subject to the laws of India and the courts of Kozhikode, Keralam. Before taking legal action, give us 30 days to try to settle the matter. Rights your local law says a contract cannot take away, such as data protection rights, still apply.

Our Grievance Officer, Anand, handles complaints at hello@sourcevouch.com or by post at Unit 2C, 2nd Floor, Sahya Building, Govt Cyberpark, KSITIL Special Economic Zone, Nellikode PO, Kozhikode, Keralam 673016. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 7 days. If you ask us to remove content barred by the last rule above, we act within 36 hours, and within 2 hours if it shows you nude or in a sexual act, or impersonates you.

If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision, you can appeal within 30 days to the Grievance Appellate Committee: gac.gov.in

We may change SourceVouch and these terms. We give at least 15 days' notice on SourceVouch of significant changes to the terms, unless the law or stopping abuse needs a faster change. If you keep using SourceVouch after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

These terms, with any promotion agreement, are our whole agreement. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest still applies. We send notices through SourceVouch or by email. The English text applies over any translation.
